This is something (Mos Def) I'm doing for a friend right now, a work in progress as the title states....any suggestions?
I'm kind of stuck as is...looking for a little something to add to it....

You know I would really like to see just a little color like maybe in the eye just a little bit as if that way it would draw your attention to them. I'm not really sure if that's what you were looking for but I love seeing black and white paintings with just that one focul point of color. I've even seen some where they put colors here and there through out the piece so that it would help draw your eye around in it.

Incredible work with just the black and white shades. Very nice work! I like the brush work. Very amazing work like your other pieces. I also like the paint that's running down the painting..gives it a texture feel to it. :clap:

Thank you for the suggestion, I am going to try that over the weekend and see what happens:) I have seen and actually have done a couple of paintings like you were describing, black and white with a focal point of color, whether it be eyes or a bit of clothing...I think it does add just the right something. Thank you again and I'll let you know how it turns out:D

Wow. This is the hottest one yet! I love the streaks and droplets. It gives it just enough grime and depth to fit your subject's personality.
